Debbie Rides Little Rock
Great city, great riding
She's the beautiful side of Freaky Styley USA and she's been riding in Little Rock. Other than the jacket to give it away, you wouldn't figure this is the middle of an Arkansas winter...

Ridin' with Virgil
On a recent return to good ol' Aotearoa, Gabb went Ridin' with Virgil and tested out his new helmet cam.
This is the basic footage from that run - all at normal speed except for the part where we slow it down where Vigril takes a wee jump and rides off the track!
Did you know that if you juggled up the letters, Virgil can become Girl VI?

The $285 Ace
Devious Deception
The Crater Cup 2006 at One Tree Hill, Auckland New Zealand. The NZ DIsc Golf Tour Ace Pool was an unprecedented $285 and the Gabb designed course offered few opportunities for the magic hole-in-one that would make a player famous. Except for hole six. Quite short (65m) but with a terrible drop-off should the brave (or some would say foolish) attempt the Ace.
One such fool was Marty de 'Dev' Haas, who had registered two triple bogies on previous rounds. Others were thinking more about their overall game and throwing gentle land-it-there-for-birdie shots.
Round three. A light drizzle as the sun breaks through and the birds are cheerfully chirping away. De Dev steps up to the tee and the rest is history - all caught on camera by Gabb.

Nydia Zero Five
28 Riders, Copious Food, World Top 5 Trail
Ah, the memories. Thanks to Skoda Pop and his wicked organisation skills, 28 riders congregated in New Zealand's South Island for a tour with a difference. Untold quantities of food and liquid were ferried into the secluded Nydia Lodge whilst the riders headed in on the truly awesome Nydia Trail.
Through stunning native bush, the uphill challenge was to limit your 'dabbing' - how many times you had to put your foot down due to the testing 'baby head' rocks, slippery creek crossings and dodgy roots. I counted my dabs on the climb to the first saddle as was proud with 14. The trick was energy conservation, as you often needed spurts of power to maintain balance over 5-20m sections of techincality. The downhill was wicked! A spill could mean nasty wounds due to the sharpness of those baby-heads.
See the action in this 10 minute video to the tunes of kiwi band Supergroove. See the Spanky/Scoobie coaster race down a narrow South Island road, the ride in, Spanky's crash on a spot where we had all walked but enitced him to ride at speed, the festivities of New Year's 2005 at the lodge, the hard hungover ride out, being collected by a boat taxi and more.

Y'all Ain't From Here Are Ya
May 2008 and the great folks of Calico Rock invited us up to the Cabin for a last bit of fun before we head to Richmond, Virginia.
Along with Krazy Ken, we explored around the area around Tom & Sandra and Mark & Julie's awesome cabins.
Gabb - as usual - carried his camera aroound with him and caught all the fun as we rode the 4 wheelers.
To the tune of Keep On Goin' by Boozoo Bajou featuring Tony Joe White.
